Rush Live

So, historically, my father, my brother and I, have been to many different rock concerts around the years. The first one was a heavy metal concert from the band Iron Maiden on 2008. After that one, we have seen Metallica, Black Sabbath, Pearl Jam, and this year we are going for Roger Waters on November. But from all of those events, what I remember and liked the most was being at Rush´s concert at the National Stadium in 2010.

For all of those who doesn´t know, Rush is one of the most important progressive rock bands of all times, keeping on the power trio format along the years since it´s creation. The band was formed in 1968 by the bassist and vocalist Geddy Lee and guitarist Alex Lifeson, to be later completed with the addition of Neil Peart (drums) in 1974. The band aspires to create complex instrumental music mixed with epic fantasy and sci-fi lyrics. The concert itself was filled with lots of drunk 50 years old males, there was little space to move too, but nothing could interfere with me and my family having a good time.
